How do I add funds to Earnr? Once your account is open and verified, you’re ready to add funds and start earning interest. To add funds to one of your Earnr Accounts: - Log into the Earnr app or Earnr online - Select Add Funds on the home page in the Earnr app, or the sidebar in Earnr online (you can also select Add Funds on the Transfers screen) - Select the account you're adding funds to, enter the amount, check and confirm - You'll be presented with instructions on where to send funds to - Open your banking app and make the transfer according to the details in the Earnr App (take extra care checking the details) When will my funds arrive? What information is included in a Current Statement? Earnr provides a Current Statement which can be used for proof of balance or similar purposes. The statement shows balances held across each account type, as at, the date and time the statement is generated. What is a custodian? A custodian is an independent institution that holds money and assets on trust for customers, keeping them separate from the assets of another institution. How does the custodian help keep my money safe? At Earnr, your assets don’t sit with us directly. They're held by Sandhurst Trustees, a subsidiary of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank. Their job is to: - Hold your funds safely in trust accounts and control all funds movements - Ensure separation from Earnr’s company operating accounts - Provide oversight to make sure your funds are managed in accordance with the PDS This structure adds an important layer of independent protection for our customers. In the event anything were to happen to Earnr or the responsible entity for Earnr, your investments with Earnr will not be lost as they are held on trust for you by the custodian. The independent custodian would take control of Earnr's assets, and act in the best interests of the members to manage or sell the assets and return funds to the members of Earnr.

Banks make it difficult to understand what your interest rate actually is. An advertised interest rate on an account might sound great, but what really matters is - what rate you're actually getting. Earnr makes it easy to see the actual interest rate you're getting on each account, and your average rate across all your accounts. Viewing the average rate on each account type This is really helpful when optimising your savings - as it allows you to easily compare the current average rate you're getting for each account type. Head to 'Accounts' in the Earnr App or log into Earnr Online. Here, you'll see how your money is split between the different account types, and, the current average interest rate in each account type. For example, the 30 Day Notice Account pays a different rate on the first $250k than the next $500k. If you had $300k in the notice account, the rate you'd see on this page is the actual weighted average rate for the full $300k. Viewing your average rate across all accounts In the summary area at top of the 'Accounts' page, next to your total balance, you'll see Average Rate. This is the weighted average return across all the accounts held by the account holder (which is shown at the very top of the page). If you have more than one legal account, you can toggle each legal account in the top menu to see the account types and all-in rates for each legal account. Make sure you take any notice dates into consideration. Once the funds are in your Everyday Account you can then transfer them to your linked bank account. To transfer funds from your Everyday Account to your linked bank account: - Make sure you have a stable internet or mobile connection - Open the Earnr App or log into Earnr Online - Select Transfers - Select Everyday Account under 'From' and your linked bank account under 'To' - Enter the amount you wish to withdraw - Enter or complete any multi-factor authentication we require, and then confirm How long does a transfer from my Everyday Account take to arrive in my linked bank account? If you make transfer to your linked bank account before 2pm (Sydney time) on a business day, it will be processed on the same day. You'll generally see the funds that evening but depending on your bank they may not be visible until the following business day. If you make transfer after 2pm (Sydney time), it will be processed on the next business day. Will transfers to my linked bank account be processed on the weekend or a public holiday? No, they will be processed on the next business day. Can I schedule a transfer from my Everyday Account to my linked bank? Transfers from your Notice Accounts and Term Accounts will be scheduled in accordance with the notice period or next available maturity date for term accounts. If you don't supply a valid TFN, we may be required to withhold part of your interest earnings. The amount withheld may differ depending on whether you are an Australian resident for tax purposes or an offshore resident. How do I get my withheld interest back? Interest earnings withheld by Earnr can be paid to you, if you supply a valid TFN. Interest withheld during the current financial year: - Interest withheld on any account or term will instantly be credited to your Earnr Everyday account - when you add a valid TFN in the Earnr App or by logging into Earnr online. - Here's how to add your TFN and get withheld interest instantly credited.
