Identity verification requirements
How does Earnr verify identities?
Earnr uses secure digital identity verification to make onboarding smooth.
To help ensure a fast and efficient verification, please make sure you enter the following details accurately:
- Driver’s licence and card number, or passport number
- Residential address (it should match the ID if applicable)
- Date of birth
Which identities need to be verified?
We're required to verify the identity of each individual who is a party to the account.
This includes individuals who have significant influence over the account and beneficial interests.
Earnr's onboarding will guide through exactly what you need for the account type you choose - but if you would like to know beforehand, please see our supports topics outlining what you need for each account type.
What if an identity cannot be verified automatically?
In most cases, we will be able to verify identities automatically.
However if we can't, we'll need to request additional documents to comply with our regulatory obligations, such as:
- A photo of a driver's licence, or a passport
- A photo of the you or the individual holding that ID
- A copy of a utility bill or recent bank statement
You can open an account by downloading the Earnr App or signing up to Earnr online.
